Enheduanna was an ancient Sumerian priestess, the first scribe to write her poetry in the first person, from a part of the world now known as Iraq. Tennyson is often regarded as the chief representative of the British Victorian age in poetry. His famous "Charge of the Light Brigade" celebrates the bravery of British soldiers during the Crimean War. (Narration by Emily Warn and John Stallworthy.)
